| The
Little Brown Jug is an internationally famous sporting
event and one of the jewels in the Triple Crown of harness
racing. The Little Brown Jug climaxes five days of harness
racing that runs during the Delaware County Fair in September.
"Jug Week" is full of fun and activity with events
that include big name entertainers, an all-horse parade and
other social events. |

Delaware Arts Festival is held each spring and attracts
numerous artists from the area to display their craft and
sell their wares. |

Perkins
Observatory, which has the second largest telescope in
the state, holds stargazing session most Friday and Saturday
nights. The observatory has a large collection of computers
that demonstrate astronomical software. |

| Olentangy
Indian Caverns are clusters of natural caverns, underground
rooms, and winding passages. Today, you can take 30-minute
tours of the caves once used by the Wyandot Indians. |

Columbus Zoo has an international reputation for successfully
breeding endangered species, such as gorilla, polar bears
and bald eagles. The park offers more than 400 acres of natural
habitat animal exhibits in addition to picnic and recreational
areas. Unique entertainment capabilities cater to everyone's

Wyandot
Lake Amusement & Water Park has a collection of water
slides, wave pool, lazy river and water-fun center, along
with amusement park rides and games. It is a favorite family
destination, located next to the Columbus Zoo for loads of
summertime fun. |

Nicklaus' famed Muirfield village course, home of the prestigious
Memorial Tournament, is located in Dublin in the southern
part of the county. This prestigious golf tournament is held
in late spring. |
