| Serving more
than 4,000 student, the Delaware City School District focuses on
quality. With curricula designed to meet a wide variety of learning
needs, the City of Delaware has five elementary schools, two middle
schools and a high school. Working parents are especially pleased
with the district's "School Age child Care Program," which provides
before- and after-school care not only for elementary, but also
for middle school students. In collaboration with the community,
partnerships exist between the city's schools and Ohio Wesleyan
University and area businesses to enhance educational opportunities.
