| The Delaware
Joint Vocational School's mission statement is to prepare youth
and adults to enter, compete, and advance in an ever-changing work
world. Providing more than 550 high school students from five districts
with vocational/technical training and academic classes, the curriculum
prepares students to enter the work force directly after high school
with marketable skills. More than 2,500 adults also benefit from
the Career Center at JVS. Adults and high school student may choose
from more than 20 programs in areas such as business, computer technology,
electronics, industrial mechanics, career graphics, technical production/repair,
drafting/CAD and many more. |
